Description: What a silly question.

Comic books say the justice league is a combination of all the super heroes every created there is a comic book called the justice league.. I said that to say this could all of the gods in all of our religions be up there in the heavens working together to further man kind, destroy it or whatever you believe? I wanna here your take on this....
Mine says noway lol sorry but it's just kinda stupid to think that we all thought up a god that just so happens to be there lol... This question was something that my sister (13 years old) said and I got interested to see what you all thought...

The hypocracy...
Religious teaches conflict, you can't worship God, Zeus, and Shivra. It doesn't work that way.
It's a pathetic attempt at trying to tell people that you'll be ok, no matter what you do. This is a false hope, and many people would rather have their ears tickled than listen to truth.
You can't serve God and mammon.

Jesus is viewed as our saviour in the Christian religious. However to Islamic followers he was a "good prophet of Allah", and the Jews believe he was a "good prophet of God, but he wasn't their saviour". This can't possibly be true because Jesus can't be a good man/prophet and a liar.

Well, I don't believe that there are a bunch of gods "up there" toying with us. Although I suppose that's POSSIBLE...

If one would like to believe that the gods all religions may exist, wouldn't it make more sense to believe that in such a way that each religion's belief of its god is merely one facet of one God? That is, within each religion the members project an image of One God who actually is, rather than that there a bunch of gods and each made itself known to just one group? (although, that was a pretty good trick if that's what they did! :))

An interesting take--one that might be in line with the Church of Unitarian Universalists or with the Ba'hai faith.
But what about religions that don't believe in God at all, like Buddhism or Taoism (if that can be a religion)? Could a religion that holds no belief in God still reflect a facet of God?

I think it is absolutely possible if we continue in this vein. One could argue that religions with gods or with a God are simply projecting more human like qualities onto their interpretation of whatever the divine spirit happens to be, or that religions which lack a god figure simply emphasize the principles and values of that spirit.
