Description: True or correct

Hi, I´m Frippegod (and I might want to change my name) and I´m new to this board, but was very kindly invited by Stevie who I´m sure you know. We met on another board that peaked a long time ago. I still go there whenever I need to fight the primeaval battle.

English is not my mother-tongue so to speak, so bear with me and my spelling at times. I don´t know what to expect from this board but I suppose you are all great guys and I´m looking forward to getting to know you all.

I´m not going to give you my CV, but here is what bothers me right now:

I love a conspiracy theory just like the other guy. Some you treat like favourite toys or pets. They are like cool instruments because they stimulate your thought and fantasy among every day news and current events. Some of them you outgrow and some simply and eventually disappoint you.

But some really get to you. I guess it partly has to do with age. When you are young you just don´t know what to believe. The world is marvelous in so many ways and you handle everything, even dubious thoughts like a jongleur. Take sides every moment.
When you get older your perception of the world gets more stable or rigid.

I guess I age too slowly because so many things that appear to be "basics" still puzzle me every day. Still it was quite a while ago since I got really cought up by a "conspiracy theory".

Media critics is part of what I do for a living so I have given this more space than most people would I guess. I´ve been doing loads of seminars on news and other reality-genres for many years now and even speciaized in international politics and especially the US politics through media.

The change in media reporting since 9:11 2001 has been remarkable. Now I believe the shift from traditional journalism to classic propaganda is going to jump back and bite the US administrations sorry ass, eventually.
The myth of reality that has been created will be difficult to change, but it will in the end, I believe. I hope.

These guys are really quite incredible. Full of belief, enthusiasm and idealism. Sometimes it clouds the message, but not very often. There are a whole bunch of streaming video to watch on this site.

Reopen 9:11

There are also a whole bunch of other documentaries on the subject.
If you haven´t seen them I promise I will get back to you with the titles and what they are about. You may all be aware of them already, so please tell me if you want them.

Congratulations! you made it all the way to the bottom of the post.
I´m really no fan of too many long posts, especially if they are "cut and paste".
Well, to defend myself, these were all my own words.

Welcome aboard, and don't worry, English in my native language and I spell it wrong all the time.

If you wish to change your name, just PM me at any time, and I can do it for you.

Just so you know, this area is meant just for introductions, so I am gonna ask that if you want to make a thread on that kinda stuff, do it in the proper forum.
About 9/11 though, I really don't care for the theroies about it being not the hijackers who did it. The last person who came to solely post one huge topic on that was banned, not for the topic, but because he flammed (insulted many times) more than one staff member.

Here is the thread on that: http://s6.invisionfree.com/Politics_and_Pr...owtopic=451&hl=

I must commend you on the longest introduction thus far.

Hello and welcome!

I'm not a big fan of the conspiracy theories surrounding 9-11-2001, so please forgive me in advance if I happen upon you in the future and try to take you to task. ;)

I would love to discuss the topic in the future, one of these days.

And then I would like to appologise for posting a subject like this in this forum.
I will move it to a more appropriate place in the near future.
I guess I was kind of fired up when I first got here.
I´m not here to preach. I find the theories interesting, but my main focus is the phenomena and the surrounding circumstances of international politics. And there are also so many other subjects and topics that are of interest.
(I read the link and it WAS out of line)

By the way, I´m not really the name-calling type.

And I´m duly impressed with the way this board looks and feels.
I need to get to know it better. In due time I guess I will.
