Hello,

I'm new to the area and wanted to write "hello" to everyone. A friend from the IMDb boards referred me to "Politics and Prose" and I thought I'd give it a try since he's such a splendid person and would hardly steer me wrong.

I'm a female in her mid-30's. I love watching tv but it doesn't mean that I don't read books I find interesting. Television is a wonderful escape if it's entertaining enough, just as message boards are or reading fantastic novels. If I had to describe my political leanings, I'd call it "fair" and leave it at that. I try to see both sides of every issue and not let bias sway me one way or another, so I've been accused of being a flaming liberal and a stauch conservative. :lol: However, I'm neither.

I'll probably surf around until I get used to being here. In the meantime, it will be nice to meet everyone and get used to posting styles!
