Title: Paris Hilton Gets out of Jail

So its all over the news, I know its not really important news, but it still ticks me off. She obviously broke the law, and now becuase her health is deteriorating she gets to go home and serve her term in luxory wearing a bracelet.

I bet if Jane Doe who was in jail for the exact same thing, under similar circumstances, would have been sent to a prison medical facility to get well, and then finish her term back in her cell.

This is favortism, and I would really like to find out who got paid for this one, and how much. Theres too much of this sort of crap going on.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

I heard a rumor that the mystery "health problem" was that A: she refused to eat the prison food or B: a psychologist found that she was emotionally distraught by the prospect of being in jail.

<sigh>

The really funny part is that the jail she was staying in had a psyche ward.

F inally a judge with some squabbles!!! She cried for her mommy. Waa waa, its only 45 days, and she still gets that good behavoir credit, so its 23 days.

She'll be out in no time, writing a book, appearing in rap songs, using this situation to increase her fame.

She deserves what she gets. She could ahve killed someone.

If this had been anyone else, it would have resulted in 180 days of jail and/or here having to get an SR-22 and then enjoying higher insurance rates, with probation to boot. Guess this is an example of leniency for celebrities or the more money you throw at lawyers the more reduced the sentences.

Justice may be blind but it knows the difference between a penny and a dollar.

Did she honestly think she wouldn't have to return to jail?

exactly right. Just because she is a well-known, rich celebrity, she bypasses the US justice system and gets off the hook with a minimal sentence. As you all know, this isnt the first time for celebs.
