This is asking from a philosophical sense, so putting it here instead of in the Arts & Music section.
What inspires you to act, create or help? Is it movies or music, books, intelligent conversation? What kinds of things are happening around you that motivate you to be creative or to affect change??

Boredom most of the time. At least for me.

Other people's actions, the actions taken by characters in books in different situations, and music. For me, when I don't do anything, life is kind of boring.

Random tangents or connections of thoughts. Often times I can't remember where I got an idea, but only when. Sometimes I can't even remember that. Today, for instance, I got one from looking at an old McDonald's toy, or something.

When my conscience gets the better of my apathy.
I'm always reminded of the saying 'There is no greater evil than when good men do nothing'.
And it annoys me.
Edit: Oh and I believe that girl is Taki from the Soul Caliber series.

That's absolutely correct. :)
And to reply to this thread... other people's creativity tends to inspire me.
