Who here watches '24' (with Jack Bauer)?

I'm just asking because Thursday, in Québec (where I live), the fourth season is about to start in French (I know, we're a bit late) and I really can't wait. I missed Season One and Season Two, but my father watched the latter and strongly recommended that I watch the third one with him. Which I did. And I think it's one of the best things on TV (along with 'Prison Break', another series I'm watching).

So this topic is open to anyone who wants to discuss Jack Bauer's adventures. Be careful not to reveal too much: some of us have not watched all the seasons (I watched just one, though I know a bit of what happened in the two first seasons). Does anyone know when the movie will be finished?

Season one was good, after that, I really didn't care for it.

It's ironic. Much the same way about it that Delta was.

Except I'd bought season one of "24" on DVD without ever really seeing an episode on television first. After watching it, was ready to grab season two, but after some glimpses of the show, wasn't overly excited about it.

It may have been the initial appeal of the show that had me at first, not sure. Or maybe it was the fact that I'd spent almost $60 for it and felt I had to enjoy it. Honestly, was watching multiple episodes per day, season one was that good.

Elisa Cuthbert sure didn't hurt matters any.

But what really got me was the way it was handled. A season representing one critical day. Of the time being shown at commercial breaks and when resuming, as well as the very end. Really enjoyed the multiple screen effect. It helped to see things as happening at the same time while the story jumped from character to character.

24 is by far my favorite show on TV. As well as Prison Break. I don't think the quality of the show has gone down at all either since it started.

I also have the first season on DVD, since I started watching it durring the second. I loved the last season too. I hope the one coming up this year will be just as good as the rest.

Ya know, found out why I lost interest.

I'd had Season 1 on DVD. I'd missed #2 & 3. I started to watch season four with hardly anyone from the first one still in it.

Season Two
Was very, very good. Very thrilling. Not too long in the buildup.

Season Three
Was possibly better than Two. The threat type was a bit less to my liking.

Season Four
Here's the dilemma....

No one is left from the original three except bit players, I think!! ARRRRRRGHH!!!

Yeah, they do tend to kill off a lot of people.

***Might be a spoiler***

I was fucking PISSED when they killed off Tony Almeida. He was the best character.

The new season started (in America) last night. It was awsome, though a little graphic since Jack wnet vampire on a bad guy and was forced to bite him on the neck. EEEEWWW!!user posted image

But other than that, it was a good start. Plus, the man that played Julian Bashir on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine now has a roll in 24! :D :D :D

The next eisode is tonight. I can't wait!!! :D :D :D
