Description: During zee games
RancerDS - September 10, 2006 04:49 PM (GMT)
When watching sporting events, what snack do you eat the most often and the most of while watching?
Deltasix - September 10, 2006 05:20 PM (GMT)
Probably chips an dip, though a little bit of everything.
jammyd01 - September 10, 2006 07:38 PM (GMT)
None of those things are sold at sporting events in England. We have Pies, pasties, sausage rolls, bacon butties (lower league), chocolate, sometimes crisps, hot dogs.
drinks - beer (not allowed at seat), Hot chocolate, tea, coffee, bovril, soft drinks

Well, crisps are chips to us, so yeah.
But no, I took this question to mean "while you're at home." While at the game, it depends on the sport.

Thats what I'm refering to.

We have dip for potato chips as well. They are exactly what you saw when you googled them.

hmm, different

Apologies jammy. The second I saw your nick, it occurred to me about the sin of omission regarding U.K.'s calling them crisps. Ironically, Pringles and Lay's "Stax" are actually called crisps; right there on the package.
And yes, it was meant at home. A person might be more apt to deviate from their proper diet by snacking at an actual event. Either way, it's intent is to find out what we snack on the most.

| NACHOS |
Hell yes!
Only since I'm usually too lazy to make them, I just eat whatever is closest to me, and that requires the least effort to put together. I voted chips. They come in a bag, so you don't even have to pour them on a plate or in a bowl or anything, you can litterally just eat them. Plus they're delicious. Crackers are second.

Although I don't actually watch sports, I know I would prefer to eat crisps, because I prefer them to all the other things in the list (when taking into account how easy they are to get; popcorn is less common than crisps).
I wish I ate Nachos more though, I love them :P (licking lips).
