Title: Report Bugs Here
Description: If something's broke let us know
Boru - January 24, 2005 06:24 PM (GMT)
Is there a bug?
It seems that only one thread at a time in each forum will be marked as read. Likewise you can't fully read one forum and it won't stay marked as being read even if I read it numerous times.
Is that a bug serverwide or invision wide? I noticed it happening on another forum I'm a member of and I'm wondering if it's particular to my computer or it's a server problem etc.
Deltasix - January 24, 2005 07:08 PM (GMT)
Invison wide. A support ticket has been sent and it was reported about 3-4 days ago by me, but so far, nada.

Still haven't gotten it fixed huh? Sheesh. Have you heard anything about it, even a we're working on it sorta message? If it's invision wide I could see it taking quite some time to fix, but I'd imagine they'd at least post somewhere that they're working on it.
Deltasix - January 27, 2005 08:34 PM (GMT)
Seth, and admin there, said that they are aware so stop talking about it.
I tried all I could, got some 20 posts on this topic and support tickets sent and all that, but theres nothing I can do, and IF is taking a long time.
Its annoying, sorry for the inconvinence.
Boru - January 27, 2005 10:27 PM (GMT)
meh, in the grand scheme of things it's a minor annoyance, and one that is tolerable until it gets fixed. I was just curious as to whether or not they believed it was a bug or just people reporting it going crazy. Thanks for the update.

Mark all posts should work if you click it 3 times. Just run through the forums and then click it, and when you reload the page on your next visit, you can see whats new. IF is really dragging their arses on this.

yeah, i'm a bit surprised they're taking this long to fix it. I'm assuming they're still working on it though.

They probably are but there not computer geniuses

<_<
Anywho, as long as the service remains intact we can still commicate, whether IF fix the bug or not isn't important
Deltasix - February 4, 2005 08:09 PM (GMT)
Actually the person who runs IF is a a kid from Maryland, who does this on his free time Chav Hunter. Plus, this is free, so can't complain too much.
That being said, I'd rather prefer if they offer a product or service, they would keep up with maintince, though this isn't too bad.

Thanks invisionfree!!!
So yea, they still don't have a time for fixing it.

I give them till the end of the month at this rate.

I belive this Bug is fixed. Is anyone still having a problem with it?
Deltasix - August 29, 2005 03:58 PM (GMT)
Every so often when you load the page, only the banner will load and some CSS text. If that happens, just ReFresh the page. I know what it is, but can't fix it right now.

This is more a feature request than a bug, but I figured it'd be better placed here than in its own thread. I think it would be convenient if the board layout would scale to the browser window (I know you can set up frames for a percentage of the width and height in HTML, not sure how exactly the code for this works). It would make it a lot easier to see things without having a maximized window, or having to scroll, and those who still want it large could just enlarge their browser windows anyway.
Deltasix - December 12, 2005 12:10 AM (GMT)
Hmm, yeah, I see what you mean. We have it set for... 1024x768 so it shouldn't be too large for anyone (unless you run at 800x600 which is huge).
But if you (or anyone) knows how to imput that into the code, do tell me.
Deltasix - January 27, 2006 03:14 AM (GMT)
Asked a few people, prehaps its only me, but anyone else having a problem with the banner loading slowly from time to time?
Deltasix - August 1, 2006 02:41 AM (GMT)
Small bump with our server tonight. Zairik and I both saw it, database problem. No posts lost or anything, but if you get an error/the forum fails to load, check back in a few mins. If it still doesn't work , feel free to IM me.

Possible Bug: A member informed me that their password didn't register as working, they had to use password recovery to obtain a new one.
If anyone else has a problem with that, please PM me.
Thanks :)
